Digital Pointfinder
The integrated digital pointfinder with a 4x zoom makes finding the target at long distances much easier. Its high resolution capability provides a sharp, crystal clear image displayed through the large colour display.

Large Colour Display
The Leica DISTO™ D5 features a new large, high resolution colour display presents the measurement results and additional information in an easy to read format.

Long Range Mode
The Long Range (LR) mode can be selected to allow measurements over long distances and in sunny conditions to be recorded without problems.

Tilt Sensor
Thanks to the in-built tilt sensor, you can quickly and simply measure tilts up to ± 45°. The tilt sensor also allows you to measure absolutely horizontally or measure past obstructions (horizontal distance).

Trapezium Function
The Leica DISTO™ D5 features a trapezium function to allow the operator to determine roof slopes and frontage areas.

Multi-functional End-piece
The Leica DISTO™ D5 features a multifunctional endpeice. When you need to measure from a corner, simply flip out the end piece and take the measurement. The instrument will automatically sense the position of the bracket and adjust the measurement accordingly.
